Horseback riding is the featured activity at Alum Rock Ranch. However the majority of guests start with little or no riding experience. All riders are escorted by experienced trail guides. Guests choose the rides that best fit their abilities and schedule in consultation with our guides. Options include one to two hour morning or evening rides, all day rides with lunch on the trail, or an afternoon ride to enjoy the beautiful bay area sunset. Private or group lessons are avilable in our climate controlled arena, where you can also learn barrel racing or team penning. Please check our rates for these addtional lessons.
